How to tame films as pedagogic tools in ELT classrooms?

Before beginning to start using film as a pedagogic tool, understanding about the medium, how it convey its message and the tools used by the medium of film are necessary. I had conducted a try out of this process during 14-15th December, 2010 with a group of secondary school teachers. The revised version of the module was prepared along with the materials and the second workshop was conducted on 17&18th February 2011 at the District Centre for English, Kozhikode, Kerala.
